Where am I from?
I grew up in Vietnam, a country with beautiful landscapes, rich traditions, and delicious food. I’ll always remember where I came from, but moving to the United States gave me a chance to be strong and successful. I love living here, beautiful America! I found opportunities I never imagined: I built a new career, became a stronger version of myself, and explored some of the most beautiful places in this beautiful country.
Sometimes I still feel small in this big world. Growing up in a small city in Vietnam, I never pictured myself hiking Utah’s red rocks, standing under California’s giant sequoias, or crossing borders on solo trips to Canada. But here I am. I made it happen, and it’s proof that when you stay open and keep going, the world opens up, too.
And here’s what I believe with all my heart: The world is waiting for you, too.
Back 2012 – My life transition started
I moved from Vietnam to California without ever driving a car back then, only riding a scooter there. I had never traveled outside of Vietnam before. When I got here, I had to learn everything from the beginning, and learning to drive was one of the hardest parts. It was intense and overwhelming, but once I finally learned, I fell in love with it.
In the beginning, I was so nervous and scared of driving that I only drove on local streets when I just got a driver license. I was afraid of driving on the freeway. I remember driving from El Monte to Rancho Santa Margarita for job interviews (about 55 miles one way). It took me three hours one way. I would stop at Starbucks to take a break. Now, I think about it, that might have been my first solo road trip in USA! 🙂
But I really wanted a job and to start working right away, so I didn’t mind doing it.
The point of this story is to remind you that we can do hard things when our mind is ready and we truly want it.
And now, after 12 years of living here, I can drive across states, over 20,000 miles, exploring national parks – something I never thought I could do.
I hope my story inspires you, because many of you have been driving longer than me.
Yes, I can do it and you can do it, too!
What Made Me Write This Blog?
I started writing this blog because, after my first few solo trips, I felt this huge desire to share my happiness with other people. I was so excited and amazed by the places I saw that I didn’t want to keep it all to myself. Every time I came back home, I felt stronger. I realized I could do things I never thought I’d do on my own, and that made me want to inspire others to try it too.
At work, I would tell my close coworkers and longtime clients about my trips. I was so happy and excited to share my stories and encourage them to try something similar. Some people were immediately interested, while others felt nervous, and I completely understand both reactions.
However, nothing makes me happier than when someone tells me they took a trip because of something I shared, and they returned home proud and happy. That feeling that I made an impact, pushed me to start writing a blog and maybe one day a book. I want my stories to reach people worldwide and encourage them to enjoy life more.
I know many of you out there love travel and adventure. Perhaps you just graduated and want to explore before starting a job. Whether you’re single, in a relationship, working full-time, or retired, your financial status or age don’t matter. What truly matters is your desire to do something meaningful that brings you happiness and strength.
You might be thinking, “But I don’t want to go alone.” I get it, I used to feel the same way. While a travel partner is great, you can absolutely go solo if needed. You might even end up loving it more than you expect.
I started traveling solo and enjoyed it so much that I want to pass that courage on to you. I hope this inspires you, and that you’ll share it with your friends.
I see so many questions in Facebook travel groups. Most people are unsure how to start or are afraid to be alone. I completely understand, which is why I want to encourage and push you to begin. I promise you won’t regret it. The more I do this, the more it inspires me to write and help you build your strength.
I hope this inspiration reaches everyone, regardless of generation, because we all want to be happy and get the most out of life. If you don’t have someone cheering you on, let me be that person.
Life is a journey. Don’t wait!

What is My Goal?
Traveling alone wasn’t always easy, but that’s exactly what makes it so rewarding. Each mile taught me something new about courage, patience, and self-trust. I want to share my stories and inspire you to dream bigger, reminding you that you can do amazing things, too. These experiences are within reach, all you need is the right mindset, a little encouragement, and self-belief. If I can do it, so can you. I’m here to help and inspire you to achieve amazing things in your life.
When reading my blog, I believe you love to travel, but the doubt and hesitation of a solo road trip have stopped you. I understand; I used to be in that position. Don’t worry! You are not alone; many women out there share the same doubts and worries. I encourage you to start small with a day trip and gradually increase to 2-3 days trip. And I am here to help you!
I believe some of you reading my blog have already completed several road trips and would love to hear about other women who share the same passion. I encourage you to share more stories and inspire other women to do the same. I would love to hear your stories!
We all want to achieve great things and be happy in life. I am embarking on this mission and would appreciate your support in empowering women to be stronger and happier, regardless of age.
Would you be proud to tell other women you completed a solo road trip of 5,000 or 10,000 miles? I am confident you would. However, reaching that point requires significant preparation, experience, and a strong mindset. I will guide you step-by-step, enabling you to eventually undertake such journeys independently and teach other women what you have learned from me.
My blog will:
- Train your mindset, skills, and confidence.
- Share inspiring stories to motivate you to embark on trips.
- Provide “behind the scenes” road trip stories.
- Offer a realistic perspective, not misleading you into believing everything will be perfect.
- Serve as your travel guide to famous national parks in the USA and Canada.
- Offer travel tips for car camping and road trips in the USA and Canada.
- Inspire you to explore the world, be fearless, and discover your own path.
- Empower you to be a strong and amazing woman you are proud of.
